Using Sajilo
Reminders
Every reminder Sajilo can send, how to turn each on or off, when it arrives, and how to choose between a card and a notification.
Sajilo can remind you about holidays, festivals, IPOs, SIP payments, your day plans and Keeper renewals. Everything is scheduled on your computer; nothing is sent from a server.
Sajilo has to be running for reminders to arrive. It can be closed to the tray, and it starts with your computer by default. A reminder that came due while the computer was off or asleep still arrives if it’s less than 6 hours late.
Card or notification
Choose in Settings › System › Reminders › How reminders appear:
- Card (recommended): a small card at the top of the screen with a soft chime. It stays until you deal with it and never takes over your keyboard. Click Show me an example to see one.
- Notification: a normal system notification in the corner of the screen. Easier to miss.
On a card, Open takes you to the right place in Sajilo and Got it dismisses it. If several reminders arrive together, they wait in the same card (2 more). You can drag the card anywhere; it opens there next time.

The first four are on by default. The IPO and SIP reminders need the Bazar module on, and Keeper reminders need Keeper on: switching a module off in Settings › Modules silences its reminders too.
IPO reminders
You won’t be reminded about an issue you’ve marked I’ve applied in Bazar, or one that isn’t open to the general public. See Bazar.
SIP reminders
Set these up per fund in Bazar › Mutual Funds: open a fund, turn on SIP payment reminder, then set Pays on, Amount (optional) and Remind me. See Bazar.
Notifications not showing?
If you chose Notification and nothing appears, notifications may be turned off for Sajilo in your system settings (on a Mac: System Settings › Notifications). Do Not Disturb and Focus modes also hide them. The Card style isn’t affected by either. More in Troubleshooting.
