Light or dark, nine accent colours, text size, and the mini view that leaves the date on your desktop.

Sajilo starts dark and gold, but most of how it looks is yours to change, in Settings › Display (the gear at the top right).

Light or dark#

Theme follows your computer by default (System). Choose Light or Dark to keep one whatever the computer does.

Accent colour#

The accent is the colour of buttons, today’s date on the calendar, the pin and other highlights. Pick a dot under Accent colour; point at one to see its name first. Every colour is made to read well in light and dark.

Chandi · चाँदी	Silver: for when you’d rather have no colour at all

Ilam tea · इलामे चिया	Ilam’s tea gardens
Makhamali · मखमली	The purple globe flower in Tihar garlands
Kamal · कमल	The pink lotus
Dhaka red · ढाका	The deep red of Palpali Dhaka
Rudraksha · रुद्राक्ष	Warm copper-brown

Holidays stay red whichever accent you pick, as on every patro: the red accents are kept deeper, so today never looks like a day off.

Text size and language#

Text size: Small, Default or Large, for the whole app.
Language: नेपाली or English. Numerals: Devanagari (२०८३) or Latin (2083).

Mini view#

Want the date on your desktop without the whole window? Press Mini view (the two inward arrows, next to the pin at the top right). Sajilo shrinks to a small strip:

First line: today in BS, the date in AD, and the time in Nepal.
Second line: your choice. Click it to switch between the next festival or holiday, the weather, the NEPSE index, the dollar rate, and the radio station while one is playing. The same choice is in Settings › Display › Mini view.
A running stopwatch takes the second line while it has time on it; click to pause.

The strip stays open when you click elsewhere and can be dragged anywhere. It’s remembered, strip and position, after a restart. Press the outward arrows on the strip to open the full view again; unpin it and Sajilo is the normal popover once more.

Keep it open#

Press the pin at the top right and Sajilo stays open while you work, drags by its top bar, and reopens where you left it. Esc or the tray icon still puts it away. See First steps.
