Finding your way around
Where Sajilo lives on your computer, how to open and close it, and what each tab along the bottom is for.
Sajilo is a small window that opens from your menu bar (Mac), system tray (Windows) or top bar (Linux). It doesn’t sit on your taskbar or in the Dock; it waits in the tray and opens when you want it.
Opening and closing it

On every system, Esc closes it too. Closing only hides the window: Sajilo keeps running, so the radio keeps playing and reminders still arrive.
On Windows and macOS, right-click the tray icon for a short menu with the date, Settings… and Quit Sajilo.
Opening it from the Start menu, Launchpad or your applications menu also works, any time. If Sajilo is already running, its window just comes to the front.
On Linux you can also bind a key to sajilo-desktop --toggle, which opens and closes Sajilo; see tiling window managers.
The tabs
Along the bottom of the window:

| Radio | Nepali FM stations |
| Tools | The date converter, Nepali units, world clocks and more |
| Routine | Break reminders and your screen time |
| Keeper | Documents and renewals, like a passport, licence or insurance |
Today and Tools are always there. The others can be switched off in Settings › Modules if you don’t use them; a switched-off tab disappears and stops sending reminders.
Settings and quitting
On the Today screen, the icons at the top right are Settings (the gear) and Quit (the power button). Quit closes Sajilo completely, until you open it again or restart the computer.
Starting with your computer
Sajilo turns on Launch at login the first time it runs, so the date is there every day. Started at login, it waits quietly in the tray. To turn this off: Settings › Display › Startup › Launch at login. Once you turn it off, it stays off.
