Day plans

Add a note or a to-do to any day, with an optional time, a reminder, and a monthly or yearly repeat in the Nepali calendar.

A day plan is anything you want to remember on a date: a meeting, a bill, a birthday, a puja. Plans are kept on your computer only.

Add a plan

  1. On the Today tab, click the day in the calendar.
  2. Scroll to Day plan at the bottom of the day’s page and click + Add plan.
  3. Type what you need to do.
  4. Optionally:
    • turn on Add a time and pick the Time;
    • choose a Reminder: At time, or 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or 1 hour before;
    • choose Repeat: One-time, Every BS month or Every BS year;
    • add a short note.
  5. Click Save plan.

The day now shows a small dot in the calendar.

A reminder needs a time. Plans without a time are notes for the day, with no reminder.

Repeating plans

Repeats follow the Nepali calendar. Every BS year suits birthdays and anniversaries kept by the Nepali date, and Every BS month suits monthly bills. If a monthly plan is on a day some months don’t have, like the 32nd, it falls on the last day of shorter months.

Change or delete a plan

  • Change it: click the plan, edit it, and click Save plan. A repeating plan keeps its original start date.
  • Delete it: hover over the plan and click the trash icon.

Deleting happens straight away, with no confirmation.

When the reminder arrives

The reminder arrives at the time you chose, as a card at the top of your screen or a system notification, depending on Settings › System › Reminders. See Reminders. Sajilo needs to be running (it can be closed to the tray) for reminders to arrive.
